The playoffs kick off on Halloween, the 113th Grey Cup lands at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on 15 November, and every fan base from the Lions to the Alouettes wants a piece of the action. This is our guide to the best betting sites in Canada for 2026, built by a CFL newsroom for CFL bettors: which sportsbooks give you sharp lines on three-down football, where Grey Cup futures and player props live, and which app fits the province you cheer from.
Most "best betting sites" lists tuck Canadian football behind the NFL tab. We flipped that. Every sportsbook below was judged first on the CFL: spreads and totals on Saturday doubleheaders, live odds that keep pace with the 35-second clock, and Grey Cup markets. The top sports betting sites in Canada cover your province, price the CFL properly and pay out fast by Interac. Our picks are below.

Best CFL Betting Sites by Team: Where Each Fan Base Bets
Canada has no single betting market: the province you are standing in decides which sites you can open. The CFL's nine markets span six provinces. Ontario and Alberta run open, regulated markets with dozens of private sportsbooks; BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec use the provincial Crown site. Location is checked by geolocation when you bet, so a Riders fan travelling to Calgary for the Grey Cup sees the Alberta line-up while there.
| CFL team | Province | Online sportsbooks available | Minimum age |
|---|---|---|---|
| BC Lions | British Columbia | PlayNow Sports (BCLC) | 19+ |
| Edmonton Elks, Calgary Stampeders | Alberta | theScore Bet, FanDuel, bet365, BetMGM, PlayAlberta Sports and other sites in the Alberta iGaming directory | 18+ |
| Saskatchewan Roughriders | Saskatchewan | PlayNow Sports | 19+ |
| Winnipeg Blue Bombers | Manitoba | PlayNow Sports | 18+ |
| Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Toronto Argonauts, Ottawa Redblacks | Ontario | theScore Bet, FanDuel, bet365, BetMGM, PROLINE+ and other iGaming Ontario sites | 19+ |
| Montreal Alouettes | Quebec | Mise-o-jeu+ (Loto-Québec) | 18+ |
| Atlantic Canada fans | NB, NS, PEI, NL | Atlantic Lottery's online sportsbook | 19+ |
Two of the five sportsbooks we review, theScore Bet and FanDuel, carry the CFL's own seal: the league's June 2026 partner announcement named both as an official sportsbook and online casino partner in Ontario and Alberta. That does not change your odds, but it brings league branding and, at theScore, the free CFL Fantasy game into the app.
Best Betting Sites in Canada: Our 2026 Sportsbook Reviews
Five sportsbooks, chosen so every CFL market has a strong option, each with a facts table for bet day.
theScore Bet: Best CFL Betting Site in Ontario and Alberta
Ontario · AlbertatheScore Bet is the Toronto-built sportsbook from the media brand many CFL fans already use for scores and push alerts, now owned by PENN Entertainment. It opened in Alberta on 13 July 2026, the day that province's open market went live, and a week later the league confirmed a multi-year deal making it an official sports betting partner in both provinces it serves.
For a Ticats or Stamps fan, the appeal is the loop between news and betting, plus the free CFL Fantasy game it presents.
Interac e-Transfer handles deposits and withdrawals, with a $25,000 withdrawal ceiling per theScore Bet's help centre. Withdrawals pass a review of up to 24 hours; Autodeposit users then usually see funds within the hour.
Pros

Cons
- Not available in BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec or Atlantic Canada
- Withdrawals pass a review period of up to 24 hours

FanDuel: Top Sports Betting Site for TSN Viewers
Ontario · AlbertaFanDuel is the other sportsbook wearing the CFL's official partner tag in Ontario and Alberta. It has operated in Ontario since 2022, and it went live in Alberta on 13 July 2026, calling it its first new Canadian sportsbook and casino launch since Ontario.
The CFL angle is broadcast: FanDuel's Canadian site promotes a "Bet & Watch" partnership with TSN, the league's English-language rights holder, so it slots naturally into a TSN game-night routine.
FanDuel's support pages list Interac for deposits and withdrawals, with no FanDuel deposit fee. Interac withdrawals can take up to five business days after approval, usually two to three with Autodeposit.
Pros
- Official CFL sportsbook partner in Ontario and Alberta
- TSN "Bet & Watch" partnership fits how most fans follow the league
- Interac deposits and withdrawals, no FanDuel deposit fee
Cons
- Interac withdrawals can take several business days

bet365: Best Betting Site in Canada for Live CFL Odds
Ontario · Albertabet365 is the global name on this list, and in our view its biggest asset for CFL bettors is in-game betting: when a Redblacks drive stalls on second down or the wind picks up at TD Place, a live market lets you react instead of just watching.
If your week runs CFL Saturday, NFL Sunday and NHL most nights, it keeps all of it in one wallet. Its Ontario help pages list Interac deposits from $10 up to $10,000 and withdrawals that typically land within one to four hours.
Pros
- Fast Interac withdrawals, typically one to four hours
- Interac deposits from $10; credit cards accepted
- Live in both open-market provinces
Cons
- No official CFL partnership
- Dense menus take some getting used to
- Not available outside Ontario and Alberta
| Regulator | Ontario: AGCO registration, iGaming Ontario operating agreement (Hillside (International Sports) ENC). Alberta: AGLC, Alberta iGaming Corporation |
|---|---|
| Provinces | Ontario, Alberta |
| Welcome offer | Offer details as published by the operator |

PlayNow Sports: Best Betting Site for Lions, Riders and Bombers Fans
British Columbia · Saskatchewan · ManitobaPlayNow Sports, run by BCLC, is where Lions, Riders and Bombers fans bet online, and the only regulated online sportsbook in BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
It offers single-event betting on every market, parlays and boosted "Power Picks". One gap: its help page lists Same Game Parlay on NFL, NBA, EPL soccer and rugby, not the CFL.
Its welcome offer is the clearest here: code WELCOME250, a first deposit of $10 to $250, bet it through, and get matching bonus bets in five equal parts. Deposit $250 and you get five $50 bonus bets.
Pros
- Only regulated online sportsbook for BC, SK and MB CFL fans
- Clear welcome offer: up to $250 in bonus bets
- Interac e-Transfer, PayPal and credit cards accepted
- Revenue stays in the province

Odds are decimal (1,95 returns $1.95 per dollar staked).
Funding runs through your lotoquebec.com account: card and Interac e-Transfer deposits start at $20, and a weekly deposit limit is compulsory (raising it takes 24 hours).

Not on our shortlist but worth knowing: PROLINE+, OLG's sportsbook for Ontario, relaunched on the Kambi platform on 27 January 2026, and PlayAlberta Sports is the Alberta government's own book, competing with the private sites since the open market started. BetMGM also covers both Ontario and Alberta. If you already hold a lottery or casino account with OLG or PlayAlberta, these are easy add-ons.
CFL Betting Sites Explained: How Canadian Football Odds Work
Canadian football looks like the NFL on a betting slip, but the game underneath produces different numbers. The field is 110 yards long and 65 wide with 20-yard end zones this season, teams play 12 a side, and you get three downs instead of four. All of that feeds into how sportsbooks set CFL lines. If you are new to the rules, our new to the CFL primer and the CFL rules guide cover the basics.
CFL Point Spreads
The favourite must win by more than the number; the underdog must lose by less or win. With three downs, possessions turn over faster and leads swing quickly. Key numbers behave differently too: singles, two-point converts and missed kicked converts add odd points, so CFL margins scatter more than the NFL's 3 and 7.
CFL Totals and the 2026 Rouge Change
Totals (over/under) are where Canadian rules bite hardest, and 2026 changed the maths. The rouge, or single, used to award a point whenever a punt, kickoff or missed field goal went through the end zone. Now a missed field goal that goes wide of the uprights scores nothing, and neither does a punt or kickoff that leaves the end zone untouched by a returner. A point is still awarded when the returner is tackled in the end zone or concedes it.
That removes a trickle of cheap points from totals, especially long missed field goals. The league wants more aggressive play-calling, so expect more third-down gambles instead of long kicks. Bigger changes arrive in 2027: a 100-yard field, 15-yard end zones and goalposts at the back line.
CFL Moneylines and Overtime
The moneyline is a straight bet on the winner. For 2026, the league approved a tiebreaker for regular-season overtime: if teams are still level after the second mini-game, they alternate two-point converts from the three-yard line until a winner is determined. Check your sportsbook's settlement rules, because moneyline and spread bets typically include overtime, while three-way "regulation time" markets settle on the 60-minute score only.
CFL Player Props
Player props on quarterback passing yards, receiver catches and yards, rushing yards and touchdown scorers are now standard at the private books in Ontario and Alberta. The wider field and pre-snap motion for receivers favour passing offences, so do not price a CFL quarterback's yardage line off NFL instincts. Kicker props deserve a fresh look in 2026 too: with the wide-miss single gone, a kicker's points line now depends only on makes.
Live CFL Betting
The 2026 rules sped up the game. A 35-second play clock now starts automatically when the previous play is whistled dead, replacing the old 20-second clock that officials started by hand, although the 20-second clock stays in place for the final three minutes of each half. That shrinks the window between snaps, so set your stake before the drive starts. The three-minute warning is the moment to reassess live totals.
Weather and Late-Season CFL Betting
From October on, the CFL becomes a weather league. Games in Regina, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary can turn on wind and cold. Wind punishes long field goals and deep passing, pushing totals down. The Grey Cup is outdoors in Calgary in mid-November, so check the forecast and compare the total with the opening number.
Grey Cup Betting: Futures, Playoff Lines and Calgary 2026
Grey Cup futures are open all season and get their last real reshuffle now, as the bracket is set. The dates for the run to Calgary, from the league's 2026 schedule release:
| Round | Date | Betting angle |
|---|---|---|
| Division Semi-Finals | Saturday, 31 October, 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET | Last chance to back a lower seed's Grey Cup future at a long price |
| Division Finals | Saturday, 7 November, 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET | Cold-weather totals; "to win division" markets settle |
| 113th Grey Cup | Sunday, 15 November, 6 p.m. ET, McMahon Stadium, Calgary | Spread, total, MVP, first scorer, period and half markets |
Grey Cup Sunday usually brings the widest prop menu of the CFL year at the private books, from first touchdown scorer to Most Outstanding Player. Our Grey Cup hub and CFL playoffs page track the bracket and injuries, and how to watch covers the broadcast for live bettors.
Sports Betting Canada Beyond the CFL: NHL and NFL
The CFL season ends in mid-November; your betting app does not. Every site here covers the NHL with puck lines, totals, player points props and live odds, and PlayNow even runs its own hockey betting guide.
NFL Sundays are the other big draw, and PlayNow does list Same Game Parlays on NFL games. theScore Bet, FanDuel and bet365 carry full NFL coverage alongside the CFL. The 2026 season page keeps the CFL side of your calendar in one place.
Betting Site Bonuses in Canada: What CFL Fans Actually Get
Welcome offers at Canadian sportsbooks almost always arrive as bonus bets rather than cash: you place a qualifying wager and get bonus bet credits, whose stake is not returned with a winning bet. So a $50 bonus bet is worth less than $50 cash. Check minimum odds, expiry and promo code before opting in.
Where you live changes what you see. Ontario's Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming (Standard 2.05) restrict publicly advertising bonuses and inducements, including on media and affiliate sites like ours, so Ontario offers appear only once you are on the operator's own platform. That is why our Ontario facts tables say "as published by the operator". Outside Ontario, PlayNow Sports' WELCOME250 deal (up to $250 in bonus bets) is the clearest. At Mise-o-jeu+ we found no standing welcome deal when we checked.
Playing casino between games? Our online casinos guide covers the casino side of the same apps, and the Interac casinos page goes deeper on bank transfers, limits and payout times.
How We Rank the Best Betting Sites in Canada
Five things decide our order.
- CFL coverage first. Spreads, totals, futures, props and live odds.
- Provincial reach. Only sportsbooks regulated where they operate.
- Banking. Interac support, minimums and withdrawal times from operators' help pages.
- Offers you can read. Clear bonus terms where publishing them is allowed.
- Play-management tools. Easy-to-find limits and self-exclusion.
The regulated picture behind those picks is simple once laid out. Under the Criminal Code, provinces conduct and manage gambling, and the Safe and Regulated Sports Betting Act (Bill C-218) made single-game betting legal across Canada from 27 August 2021. Ontario runs an open market: operators register with the AGCO and sign an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, whose public directory listed 49 operators and 84 gaming sites when we checked. You can confirm any Ontario brand in the iGaming Ontario directory. Alberta's open market launched on 13 July 2026, with AGLC as regulator and the Alberta iGaming Corporation managing operator agreements, and PlayAlberta continuing as the government site. In BC, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and Atlantic Canada, the provincial Crown site is the regulated option. Offshore sportsbooks are not licensed in Ontario or Alberta, and sites licensed by the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission are not registered with iGaming Ontario.
Keep it part of the fun. You must be 19+ to bet in most provinces and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. In Ontario, ConnexOntario offers free, confidential support at 1-866-531-2600. GameSense advisors are available through PlayNow (BC and Manitoba) and PlayAlberta, Albertans can call or text 211, the Saskatchewan Problem Gambling Help Line is 1-800-306-6789, and in Quebec Jeu: aide et référence answers at 1-800-461-0140.
Betting Sites in Canada: FAQ
Is sports betting legal in Canada?
Yes. Provinces run or regulate gambling under the Criminal Code, and single-event sports betting has been legal nationwide since 27 August 2021. Ontario and Alberta license private sportsbooks; the other provinces offer betting through their Crown sites, such as PlayNow, Mise-o-jeu+ and Atlantic Lottery.
Which betting sites are official CFL partners?
The CFL's June 2026 partner release named theScore Bet and FanDuel as official sportsbook and online casino partners in Ontario and Alberta.
Can I bet on the CFL from Saskatchewan or Manitoba?
Yes, through PlayNow Sports. The minimum age is 19 in Saskatchewan and 18 in Manitoba.
How did the 2026 rouge change affect CFL totals?
A missed field goal that goes wide, or a punt or kickoff that leaves the end zone untouched, no longer scores a single. That means fewer cheap points padding the total.
When is the 2026 Grey Cup, and can I bet on it in Alberta?
The 113th Grey Cup is on Sunday, 15 November 2026 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, kickoff 6 p.m. ET. Bettors physically in Alberta who are 18 or older can use any sportsbook in the province's regulated market or PlayAlberta.
Do I pay tax on sports betting winnings in Canada?
For recreational bettors, no. The Canada Revenue Agency does not treat casual gambling winnings as taxable income. Professional gamblers can be treated differently.
